Was reading some older topics here and read the PSK31 thread. I read where a net was suggested and wondered if anyone ever got that going and is it regular? Would love to checkin one day.
The other was, and I know it was posted a year ago, a technical mini discussion regarding eliminating splatter while transmitting. The most common method, instead of reducing power via the power out knob, is to set the power out to max and while tuning up, set your meter to ALC, & adjust the transmit level ( mic gain on my rig) until there is absolutely no deflection on the ALC meter. Your signal will be very clean, On my rig, power out is around 25-40 watts like this. You can use the tx level adjustment within your software program or on your interface too.
