protocol for posting here versus on a blog

Hi everyone,

I've just written up a quick summary of our first trip out in our new Vega, and I was thinking about posting it here. I was also thinking about starting a "blog" and placing it there. I'm not sure what the proper etiquette or protocol is for such a thing on a list like this.

For example, since it I think I will keep writing summaries of our trips and adventures, I'm not sure if the list will want to always get another update. I know everyone is interested in updated from that guy in a Vega in the Marquesas, but is anyone interested in a novice 30's sailing couple that just bought a vega and are getting it ready as a get-out-of-the-rat-race escape pod?

Personally, I'd like to post the entries here so that I get feedback, comments, and advice from more knowledgeable and experienced Vega owners.

So I suppose I'll post the first entry, and if people object then I suppose I just won't do it again in the future.

Thanks,
Kristopher

I may be over-ruled by senior members of the forum but for me your
cruising blog post was great. In the unlikely event that forum users
don't want to read it they don't have to!

Your struggles with your MD6 engine make you a fellow sufferer with
many of us and your decision to keep sailing is to your credit.

Looking forward to many more of your posts.

I don't ever recall anyone complaining about anything boat related on the forum...as John said, if folks don't want to read it, there's always the delete button.

everyone here would benefit from everyone else sharing their experiences. Post away about all things sailing, and esspecially the Vega. Congrats on the first voyage. the longer i own the vega the more i like it.
