Proper Prop

I'm partnering up with a friend who's owned this 1986 Hunter 25.5 since new. The dealer changed the prop before selling to overcome an overheating problem. Turned out the problem was elsewhere and was rectified. The boat has always seemed underpowered, though, and with me signing on, we'd now like to put the proper prop back on her. Can anyone help with what size prop the boat came with originally? We're also considering a folding prop, so any info on the right one for this boat would be much appreciated. Thanks, Brad

I dont know.

Dear Brad Stone: Thank you for your note. I’m sorry to tell you Brad but we do not carry the information on the 25.5’s propeller configuration. I called a left a message with Hunter to call me back, but as of yet they have not responded. I will guess that they will ask me a number of questions with regards to the running gear, which may only be known by you or the owner. It’s my suggestion that you call them direct. Hope this helps. in-board?

Specs I find in forum that lists all the models of Hunters show the 25.5 without an inboard. Are we talking out-board power here?
