Hi Peggy. I want to thank you for your help last spring when you told me that my Wilcox Crittenden Imperial was definitely a keeper. Now I'm starting to think about winterizing the unit. When I spoke with Jocko last spring, he said I should lube it by putting mineral oil into the top of the pump & pump it thru. He said the WC product Sea-lube wasn't necessary. I've seen you recommend Super lube. In your opinion, is mineral oil an adequate lubricant? If I use Super-lube, would putting that product into the top of the pump do anything to lubricate the lower cup leather in the pump housing or do I have to remove the cap on the bottom of the pump to apply the Super-lube directly? Also, I see there are a number of products named Super-lube. Which manufacturer do you recommend? Thanks for your help. Marc
