Our 28 Oday has a two bladed prop which creates severe Port side prop walk when in reverse leaving a dock. I've contemplated changing to a three bladed prop to minize this action. Any advice would be appreciated, both on changing props and severe prop walk Thanks folks.

3 blade fixed on 0'28

I switched to a fixed 3 blade prop. Big improvement in speed and handling under power. No change in pulling to port in reverse. I compensate for the expected pull and get in or out of the slip just fine. If speed or control under power is a priority, the 3 blades help.

sounds like a big expense

they all walk to port in reverse. thats normal. much beter to inch to bulkhead or dock and compensate for it. also why add aprox 40% more drag under sail. three bladed feathering props arn't cheap. i have a two bladed folding on mine and it works fine. except i think the pitch is wrong. which I'm reseaching now.
