Propeller replacement

Newly purchased 28.5 with replacement prop of urethane. The original prop is still on board.
Is there a method to check the original and reinstall it or should I purchase a new prop.

Is there something wrong with the urethane? The PO must have had a reason the checnge out the OEM. Other one should be balnced before install.

It shattered and fell off the boat. The only think left was the bolt on the shaft.

Props need to be balanced and shafts need to be inspected. Have someone competent look at the boat, either by diving on it, or (better), hauling the boat and doing a full inspection prior to installation of the next prep.
