Prop size
Something you may concider, I installed a MAXI prop a few years ago, and the pitch on the prop is set by the RPM of the motor... When setting the prop up, I called the manufacture.. they said to set the gearing or pitch so the RPM of the motor would be choked off 2000 RPM less than Max. Took some guess-work and we had to pull it out twice to get it right, but it works great now.. I very seldom run the boat over 1800 RPM but I know it wont "Over-rev" and I'm getting the maximum pitch out of the prop...
