I just found out that propane tanks have to be inspected, every 10 years in Canada, the date to be stamped on the tank, before they will refill the tank.

The date on mine was over due..........well now back to gunkholing for 2 more weeks.

Just left here 7/29/2013, ran out of propane.

Are those dead trees above the falls, the pine beetle has killed so many trees here in b.c. ?

Were you able to anchor at the falls overnight ?

Just had my tank refilled. The date was past due but the commercial propane company that I use was able to recertify the tank and put a new date on it for 5 more years. A new 10 pound aluminum tank would have cost about $120.00 USD plus $15 to fill it. I also bought an adapter to use a one pound bbq bottle if I ever do run out.

Just took another look at the beautiful scenery. Truly magnificent. I think I would have stayed there and eaten cold food. LOL
