Hey,I just purchased a 2000 hunter 290.There's no propane tank in the LPG locker box model 143A.I'm having trouble finding a tank that will fit.It looks like a 4 gallon is needed.Any and all help is welcome.Thanks George

What type of a box is it? Some of the boats have propane lockers with molded in boxes, other have a box with a lid.
If it is a box with a lid, you probably have a Seaward Products unit.

Its probably the 4 1/4 lb unit second row down on the right. You can get spec and maybe find cheaper but that is a pretty good price. There are also fiberglass tanks now out there. No rust. Good luck
