propane stove problems

I have a 2003 Hunter 326 with a propane stove and oven. The system is equipped with a solenoid and regulator. When I first turn on a burner or the oven, the stove lights just fine. After 5 mins or so the flame goes out and will not light. After a few hours I can repeat the process with the same results. The propane tank is full. Can any one help?

Looks like your solenoid is going bad. They start heating up and then fail. Since they are designed to default to off when they fail the gas will be shut off. Just carefully touch it and if it is to hot to the touch replace it.

If the solenoid is good it could also be that the tank is overfilled. The result is liquid propane flowing into the regulator and freezing.
