Hi all,
I'm the new owner of a 1993 Legend 37.5. It has the cng stove and range. I would like to install a propane stove and range. Some of the later model Legends came with this and a propane locker in the port aft locker. Does anyone know of a source for these or have one for sale?

You can usually just change out the orifice to switch from CNG to Propane (no need to purchase a new stove).

You will need to purchase the hoses, tank & box, regulator, etc.

Here is a link that you can call to get some prices for the equipment that you would need.

PS: Why do you want to switch?

Seaward Lockers

When I purchased my 1983 H34 ten years ago it already had a propane stove. The previous owner tied a 20lb grill tank in the starboard lazarette without a locker. One of the first things I changed was to a Seaward locker. I placed it in the stern lazarette on the starboard side and vented it out the transom. It came with a six pound tank. Easy install. Works great.

Kool, Joe.. Do you have a picture of the installation?? My tank is secured onto the steering pedistal.. Like yours, the P.O. had just thrown the tank into the lazarette and I moved it because it made me a bit nervous there !! I have hesitated about putting the locker into the starbaord side because of the already starboard list..

I'll get a photo

Claude,

I just returned yesterday from a six day sail around the northern part of the Chesapeake. I'll probably get down to the boat again in a week or so. I'll get the photo and post.

Joe
