I have a 81 S2 11.0. Wondering if any one has made this conversion. How and where you put the tanks. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

I've considered it and done some research but haven't actually made the switch. Some links I have bookmarked are:

I'm not a big fan of LPG on boats. My thought was to put the locker in the aft starboard locker.

I'm trying to decide if going electric is a better plan for us.

This photo from Yachtworld started me thinking about an induction cooktop.

I'm undecided as of yet but it's down the list yet for the refit.

Let us know what you decide. Please take some photos too!

I converted a couple yrs ago. I acquired a propane locker that holds two 2.5 gal bottles and located it inside the port cockpit locker next to the hull. Ran the vent line down and aft and put it through the hull. Sometimes I get some water into the bottle locker and I haven't figured out what to do about it yet. Actually the yard located it. There is another 11.0a in the area and it also has a small locker inside the cockpit locker and ran the vent out the hull just below the level of the locker floorboard about the middle of the hull. I went this route cuz I refit to go to AK so I wanted some quantity and did not want to hang bottles on the stern pulpit and propane is available anywhere. SC, what are u going to use for power with an induction stove? I spend a lot of time on the hook......
