prop sizes

i am getting ready to repower my 37 cutter and want to know the DIAMETER of the prop you are using? i know that depending on the engine the pitch may vary but the spec sheet containe her on the HOW site mentions 15"....is this real....i am planing on going with the CAMPBELL SAILOR prop as it seems to be a smart idea (or good salesmanship) from what the advertise....any input? my main concern is DIAMETER, as i will let the prop people tell me their ideas on pitch....thanks chet p

Fifteen it is.

That is the size of my original two-blade(now in a locker). It is also the diameter of my three year old Flex-O-Fold. But the prop manufacture should give you the specs. He needs to know shaft diameter(1"), displacement(18000#), horsepower, and your requirements(water-skiing or powering through 15 foot seas). There is room for more than 15".

cambell sailor?

the one i am considering is the campbell sailor(sp?) 3 blade to go with the new westerbeke 35C engine i am installing soon
