Prop Shaft

Hello O'Day List Members,We are new owners of a 1984 O'Day 34. In the process of repairs for relaunch. (1)Does anyone have a good source of SS shaft for this boat? (1 inch X 49 inches with taper at prop end and key slots on each end) (2) Do the fuel supply and return lines need to be high pressure lines? (3) Is there a source for copies of the brochures for this boat? (4) Is there a source for an engine manual for the Universal 25? Thanks for any help. I plan to post some pictures of the boat being delivered by truck. Phil

If you call the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic,CT and ask for "Ships Plans" they have the complete collection of all Oday boat plans.

We were looking at the 34 but ended up getting the 35, same boat but the 35 has the sugar scoop transom, invaluable when you have two kids that love the water!
