LOOKING FOR ANY RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PROPS, CURRENTLY HAVE 2 BLADE FIXED, 13X ?. WITH YANMAR 2GMF 16 HP, NOT HAPPY WITH SPEEDS WHEN MOTORING, WAS WONDERING IF 3-BLADE MIGHT BE BETTER CHOICE. ANYONE HAVE GOOD LUCK WITH A 3-BLADE? CURRENTLY GETTING APROX. 4 KNOTS @ 2000RPM

Not to brag but when I decided to change
from a 13x7 two blade to the three blade prop that I have now I went round to the old boat shops and asked what they had in the range that I wanted. I was able to find several options in three blade for less than 100 dollars each. I picked one that met the numbers that I had work out and have been plesed with it. I can run full throttle and dig a hole in the river but somewhere around 2200 rpm seems to be the best for fuel economy and speed. about 5 kts.
