I am having difficulty pulling off my three blade prop with a puller. Does anyone have any tried and true hints?

Need the heat...

Had a friend help me pull our 321 prop off after it was on for about 7 years. Used a gear puller from an auto supply store and applied a litte bit of heat from a torch. Just be careful...

Yep, heat

I'm the guy that helped Chris. Put the puller on and apply some tension on the screw, then heat the hub of the prop evenly between the blades. Prop should "pop" off at some point. If it doesn't, cool it all down and start again with a bit more tension on the puller screw. The idea is to heat the prop alone (expanding it) and it will pop off. Tim

Tim, you are the best!

Tim, I keep telling you that you should be a sailboat consultant...
