Hi Ctskip,

This boat is full of head-scratching items that have entertained us throughout the summer. I'm thinking they are line guards for the prop. There's always the chance that someone saw a '60s vintage Caddy and said those fins would look kool on a boat.

I had been shuffling through a drawer at the nav station and wondering what usefull items were in there. There are many different O-rings, keys, and a few hardware items. Now during the hurricane prep I was replacing the dorades with cover plates and wondered why there wasn't a wrench that would fit the two holes on the plates. We have plenty for the deck fills and pump-out fittings, but nothing for the dorades. Then the light turned on. The hinged, brass strut that looks like it would hold the hatch open, has two little pins on it that could fit the dorade cover plates. Who woulda thunk.
