Hunter 20 Charleston
Hello everyone, my name is Sam and I'm a new member. I'm always interested in following people's restorations of their boats and I though I might give it a try. I recently acquired a 1983 Hunter 20. The boat has quite a story behind it...but I'll get to that another time. I just plan on posting pictures of the boat's progress and maybe includeing a little summary of what I've been doing. I am by no means a professional, just a good do-it yourselfer. Let me know what you think, any comments, questions, or suggestions are welcome. I'll post more up to date and better pictures soon. These pics are its first time out of the water and dry docked with a little ingenuity.

Welcome! I owned an 84 Hunter 20 a few years back...it's like a "fun-size" Hunter 22! Looks like you could use some power washer action on that bottom! The good thing about the H20 is that there is little woodwork inside to fiddle with, mostly a fiberglass interior. I think all I did was shop-vac out the entire interior, reseal the windows and refinished the dinette table. Do you have cushions for the inside?

This site is a great resource! I have learned so much from the wisdom of other owners here!
