I have a 2007 Profurl 350 (or 420?) for my 2007 Beneteau B40. The halyard swivel does not rotate as easily as it use to (eg the sail head attachment does not rotate as freely in comparison to the adjoining halyard attachment. I tried washing with a water hose without any noticeable difference. Is there a special way of rinsing? I notice the manual says do not use WD40 or any lubricant (and none has been used)? Any suggestions?
The boat is only used on a fresh water lake.
Note--the furling of the genoa still worked OK last year (eg no twist of the halyard around the forestay), but I am concerned it is getting worse.

Rick Friesen
