Recently I was working on the sole in the cabin. I sanded, vacummed, and tacked. Put three coats of Profin down over three days. Looked much better. Fifteen hours after the final coat I walked on it in my socks. Sticky. Should I have waited? Or is the stickiness normal? Thanks, Joe Mullee

No Sticky

Sounds like it was still wet. Mine came out with a hard like finish not sticky at all. I used some steel wool in between coats,if you don't have a nice smooth finish that looks like glass give it another coat but wait until its really dry. nick

sounds like

I have never used Profin but have used many varnishes. This sounds like you did not stir the profin and therefore did not get the driers mixed up with the other ingredients. I will probably dry - eventualy but may take weeks.

Temperature/Humidity?

I varnished the interior of my Vision 32. It took almost 10 days to dry at mid-60's weather, but high humidity. Rick D.
