Hi all:
This is an update on my problems furling the main sail on my Hunter 45CC (4 yrs old). My sailmaker Oliver from UK Salimakers Marina Del Rey found out that when furling the main the main sail overlapped and got therefore stuck. It was due to the fact that the main sail was stretched out at the luff - he had to recut the sail - now there are no more probles. I always keep tension on the outhaul or inhaul when taking the main sail in or out, respectively, with the main halyard and boom vang loose.
Thanks a lot for all you input!
Best wishes,
Viktor
