On a new installation of the ST 4000 tiller pilot. The display and tiller actuator seemed to work OK on the initial start up and for several hours sitting at the dock. Now however at power up the display beeps and shows a screen for a few seconds and then goes blank and beeps a couple of more times. The weather has been too rough to leave the dock (Southern Lake Michigan) and swing the compass. Could not swinging the compass for a week or so have triggered some error mode? It has power, because it shows a screen and beeps the first few seconds? Thanks in advance for your help. John S/V DragonFly
