Fuel filter
Hi Bruce: The first thing I would recommend if you have not already done it is to clean out your fuel tank. It is not a hard job. Remove the sending unit from the tank, and use a hand pump with a stiff piece of neoprene tubing and suck out fuel from the lowest part of the tank into a glass jar. Let the jar set for a few minutes and observe the "gunk" in the bottom. Repeat until no gunk appears. Then I would go to the 2 micron filter. That is what I have on my M25XP Universal, and I have had now problems. After 50 hours, I would change the engine fuel filter, and then you should not have to replace it again for a long long time.good luck,Dave S/V Westwind
