I have a C30, circa 1983, tall rig. The yard has given me a quote for some work, and I'd like y'all's opinion of whether it's within the reasonable range.For the following work: *Install Statpower battery charger with temp switch, upgrade wires to ABYC specs*Install a dedicated battery for the engine start with isolator and switchThey quoted the following price:Labor**Batt charger &c. $247.50**Starting battery &c. $367.50Materials*Batt charger &c. $625.00*Starting battery &c. $325.00Is this a fair price?

Although you don't give exact charger or size battery etc. its hard to spec out the materials. As far as the labor its only a two and a half hour job with all the materials present. NOW! if you don't know how to set it up then you have to ask what its worth to YOU!!!! Three hours work should not command over $200 on labor for a yard. You can get the materials yourself and then ask for an install price. I would recommend that you be present and understand the schematic of the wiring so you will have a working knowledge of how to do it yourself. good luck Gary
