Prevailing Wind Charts

Anyone have a good internet source for prevailing wind data off the Southern California coast? I'm particularly interested in the Channel Islands and Catalina Island.I've seen charts put out daily showing the wind forcasts but I can't seem to locate them on the internet.

Month by month prevailing wind direction & velocities are detailed on "Pilot Charts".

Navy

I can not remember the site but Pt. Hueneme [Ventura County Navy Base] has a weather service that is updated frequently and gives both current readings and forecasts. I have moved away from there and no longer have it as a favorite site. Sorry I can not be more specific

Wind forecast by Intellicast

I have found there predictions to be very accurate. Also check out the GreatSailing link under Forecasts. They attempt to give an evaluation of wind and weather combined.
