Pressure in the head tank

Opened the cap to pump out my head and it was clear that the pressure relief value was plugged since I had a gusher of urine. Anyone know what might cause the head vent to get clogged and how to unclog it?

Bugs

Bugs will get into your vent and the hose that goes to your holding tank. You can usually get it opened up with a stream of water from a hose.
