Is it best to secure the anchor line to the foward deck cleats or will the aft cleats near the anchor locker work as well? We plan to use the anchor for the first time and would appreciate any advice on the subject.
As long as you have a well secured "chock" at the bow, I thing you could use either cleat (as long as the anchor line runs unobstructed to the cleat). The real important thing here is that the cleat you use MUST be through bolted, with a good backing plate. Good Luck
