I assume the rest of you subscribers have also received the letter stating the page count will be reduced a third in future issues. Obviously suffering from the same forces acting on the rest of the publication industry. I wondered if it would be advantageous for them to move to an all digital format? They would lose some customers but the overhead would be dramatically reduced. I like getting the magazine and would probably continue it online for a lesser cost. Would you though? Frankly, the present path seems like a death spiral as much as I like and respect the publication.

Thinking about what I just wrote, it's probably a waste to spend time talking about it here. I think a further reduction of page count will simply doom the publication (it's happened before). Moving to an all digital format is likely the only path forward and we could get some of the copy that will be lost and enriched content. Here's their contact information:

Interesting. Got the same letter and after subscribing for many years thought I'd probably not subscribe and just buy specific online articles. Of course, if that's what most folks do, there will be no online articles.

Personally I am happy to pay for hard copy. I like having a reference library I can later go to. Not interested in paying for online. Especially since there is more information than I have time for online for free. I love this site because it is a forum for discussion and shared experience.
I let my subscription lapse to Family Handyman when when they started putting more information online and the hardcopy was just ads and intro articles telling you to go online and look up the rest of the project.
Always thought Practical Sailer should accept ads from non equipment sponsors.
