On our 2005 Hunter 41DS, the house batteries are two Powerpak Heavy Duty Commercial batteries. Does anyone know what the amp-hours capacity is of each of these batteries.

Practical Sailor just reviewed all these batteries and listed their specs. It was a great article. Worth the $4.00. When I get home I will reply with the specs for you, or Google the article.

The manufacturer of your battery is Deka, per the article. The one tested was a group 31 AGM. Ah capacity at 20 hours was 105 Ah. Marine cranking amps =1,000 amps. The article did note that after 30 partial charges, the amp hours dropped to 76 Ah in that manufacturer.

Hope that helps.

Best to contact the "sticker company" who labels and re-sells these batteries. They seem to be based in Ohio.. You will need the specs (CCA/MCA etc.) or group size and type (flooded, AGM etc.). A picture may help me identify the actual manufacturer but best to call the relabeler...
