I just became a new hunter sailboat owner and i have a prob. there must have been work done to the engine and it seems that they cut the wire that sends juice to the battery at least i think thats what it is for . Well its the only wire coming out of engine and there is a wire coming out of seat that was cut as well right behind the motor . My question is do you know if there is any power to the battery from the motor and if so is that the wire .just woundering lost new owner

Hit the tab key

Sorry about that previous post I just tabbed, and hit the submit button. I would try to test the what comes off your motor before I hook it up to the battery. The reason I say that is because I also removed the cable that attached to the battery, not permentaly, but I removed because I went through 2 blown batteries in 3 months. The batteris were cooked. I had my charger tested, and it wasn't the culprit, I even checked the fluids every week. So before you go and hook up that cable make sure your not cook your batteries. Cheers T
