I want to do a thorough cleaning on my 25.5 and I wanted to know if anyone had tried to powerwash the deck. Does it hurt the fiberglass? There are lots of stuborn spots that I couldn't clean using a deck brush and some cleaning material... thanks

Try cleaners first

Powerwashing sounds bit brisk. Try Magic Eraser by Mr. Clean on spots first. Archives has other esoteric cleaning ideas.

No problem

I have used an electric low power washer on several boats without any problems. Be very carefull around any wood, it will clean it but also will bring up the grain very quickly.

cleaners

I have a 240 and used the power washer this past weekend. It does a good fast job. I have also used wood bleach,i.e. oxalic acid. Same stuff that is in StarBrite hull cleaner. Star Brite costs 5.00 from WallyWorld(Wal-Mart)From the hardware store, wood bleach is 5.00, but it will last about 3 years. Use a heaping tablespoon in a gallon of hot water and have fun. It takes leaf stains and dirt off with only a little scrubbing.
