Why do I have to constantly push the fuel lever back to full power? After achieving full power she “idles back” to around 2000 RPMs. Is this normal or a sign of a potential problem?
you have a throttle cable thats either to loose or to tight I think. check it without the engine running, open it up and watch the linkage on top of the engine.
Inside the binnical (under the compass) there is an adjusting clamp that puts some 'grip' on the cable to keep it where you put it. It probably needs some tightening (not a lot).Regards,Dick CareyS/V Puffin1990 H-33.5
