Does anyone know if it is possible to charter, rent, or lease a sailboat in Englewood FL. My wife and I just winterized our cat27 for the winter and are leaving in november to visit the in laws. We were wondering if we could rent lease or charter a boat for a day or two. If anyone has any info we would be grateful. thanks paul and kathy tourville

proably the closest charter i'm aware of would be at punta gorda, about 40 mi so of englewood...i suggest yachting vacations located at burnt store marina just so of punta gorda...sw fl yachts is also located at the same marina

Whidens Marina on Gasparilla Island...

used to have an O' Day which I rented a few years back (I have family there and visit often). It's was a 28 footer as I recall but really only a day sailer. I don't know if they still have it. The marina is in the town of Boca Grande and readily accessable to Boca Grande Pass and Charlotte Harbor. My bother is a Marine Mechanic at a marina down there and I could run this past him.
