Doing research into what an Asymm would cost me rating wise and not sure how to apply the info.
In the Modifications section, it states that a boat using an Asymm w/o a sprit should be modified by 0.995 - making the handicap a little lower. In the notes section, it states that for every 5% beyond the "J" of the boat one should deduct 0.5 . . . . for an Asymm? Does one calculate the Modification AND the deduction?
