Okay, the next big project will be the opening side ports. I am not sure I can deal with the factory plastics. I like the NFM's, but am curious if anyone has a third option.

I really don't know how anyone can complain about those cheap old shitty lookin' Gray Marine ports that have only lasted for over 30 years?

Not a big fan of NFM. have one that leaks intermittently for the last five years. Also find that here in Florida, opening ports do not add much ventilation. Hatches and wind scoops do.

I believe Blaise (Midnight Sun) went with Lewmar Oceans...I am sure he will chime in. I replaced the Greys with Beckson, which was not a significant improvement.

When I replaced mine on my H30, I went with the original Greys because of the sizes. I needed two different sizes and didn't want to mess with filling in a couple of holes in the cabin. I could only get the NFM ones in the smaller size I needed. Others were so expensive that that wasn't an option. I believe I bought them through this site but can't remember that far back. I do know that it's been more than 10 years and no leaks yet.
