Are your needs too large for the foot bellows type manual pumps? No power needed for those.

The high pressure floor on my inflatable needs 10 psi and the rest of the boat gets 3.5 psi. The ten psi was a problem for most pumps, especially hand pumps. I purchased a Scopreza pump from defender and am very happy with it. The auto shut off at the preset pressure is a very useful feature

We use our rechargeable shop vac for volume and then a hand pump to achieve the proper pressure. We always try to purchase boat stuff that can serve multiple purposes. The battery in it is from my Dewalt right angle drill.

Thanks everyone for the responses..I have decided to give the Black & Decker Unit a try.
That Dewalt vacuum looks like a great product...especially if you are using their other cordless tools that take the same battery!

12v air mattress pump. It'll pump it to about 95%, then pressurize it by hand pump. Cheap. Cheap. Chinese. Support walmart now!

Slightly off topic and I apologize, but...

Where can I find a t-connector and hose for my inflatable pump? I would like to inflate both chambers at the same time instead of one at a time?

Anyone seen such a device?

Looks interesting to me too, but am not convinced that it could inflate an 11.5 ft dinghy (incl hi-press floor) with one charge. It is said to do 4 tires - less volume but more pressure.

Please do let us know how it performs when you buy it.

tks

I dunno about the charge, but those kinda pumps are SLOW when it comes to volume. They'll do pressure just fine, but for something the size of a dinghy it'd be faster to inflate by blowing into it with your mouth.

That's why I said to use an air mattress pump. It's really a blower more than a pressure pump, that will take a flat flat rollup dink, and have it 95% full in 30 seconds. THEN, take one of these junky automotive electric tire pumps, and finish making it tight. Yes, I could EAT a tire faster than one of those pumps will work. It's common physics. Small inefficient pumps. Volume, or pressure. Rarely both.
And for less than 20 bucks, you are in the raft business..both of 'em..

I've gone thru several mattress pumps. they don't like to be dropped -at all.

Please give use an update on the B&D... looks like its well built and has dual modes.
