I've a porta potty on my boat - what should I, can I, use in the holding tank? I've heard white vinegar will work as a substitute for the formelydahyde stuff. Is that true?

Yep...white vinegar works in portable portapotty tanks
Mix it about 50-50 in the flush water reservoir. In especially hot weather, you may have to add a bit more. If your portapotty is one of the permanently installed pumpable models, it's vented... so K.O. or Odorlos will work best in it.
