Porta-Bote Dinghy

Please share your experience with a Porta-Bote. Which size (8, 10 or 12 ft) and which size motor have you found best for use, storage, etc. with a Mac 26X? Am considering mooring the Mac in the Florida ICW and, hopefully, using the dinghy in the keys and Bahamas as well. How many persons are the different sizes actually good for? All info is welcome. Thanks.

Porta-Bote

I can't say how it performs because I've never had it in the water but I have a brand new 12 foot square transom model with the nicer newer sail kit sitting in my garage. It was a gift for my father but he then passed from a stroke in Nov.I have been trying to sell it. Looking at it though it is a durable boat with three seats and two with cup holders. I put it together in about 20 minutes first time by myself so thats not bad for a 12 footer.
