Next year you might consider attending the Deer Harbor Wooden Boat Festival. It is mid-week just before the Port Townsend shindig. It's not as big, but it is folksy, fun, and about 40 great boats attend as they travel from the Victoria Classic Boat Show, to the Port Townsend event. We have row boat races, a sailing race, and great BBQ dinner, music...its fun.
