Port Side Fuel Tank

Hi All,
Does anyone know how the port side fuel tank is attached to the boat
and how to remove for cleaning?

Hi Paul,
I worked on my tank yesterday and it was framed in
with a plywood cover but not really connected to the
hull or sidewalls in any way. After you remove the
wood cover and disconnect the hoses it should easily
lift out through the port side hatch. If you have a
problem with it you can call me to look at it. Right
now the tank on 'SCT' not covered at all.

I'll check it out this weekend. I'm sure the take has not been
cleaned in years.

You are right. It just sits there. No plywood frame. I hadn't pulled
on it enough. Plan on pumping the fuel out and cleaning in the next
week on two. Nice breeze on the lake today. Excellent sailing.
