Port Side Deck organizer

Has anyone added port side deck organizer and clutches like the Starboard side. Are they through bolted or tapped into deck?

Your ceiling would have some caps or plugs if they are thru-bolted. I'm guessing there's an encapsulated plate that's tapped for them like my Hunter

Yes I put a 3 clutch and a thee organizer on the port side. On the H26 there is an embedded aluminum plate that you have to tap.

My 94 33.5 had glassed in aluminum plate at locations for the clutch and deck organizer- tap and screw

The imbedded Aluminum plate on Hunter H27 seems to be fairly thin. Not trusting it to hold securely I through bolted it to the cabin ceiling with a backing plate. To avoid the unsightly hardware I cut away a section of the thin ceiling liner and added a board ceiling to hide the mess. .

The construction of the encapsulated aluminum plates has worked well on the Hunter sailboats over the years. I was a major Hunter dealer now retired
