I need just the screen inserts for my ports on my '86 25.5. I've checked the chandlery but didn't find them there, only complete units that did not look like the originals. Anyone know where I can purchase these? Thanks.

Screens

Check this out. I'm not sure the models availble are the correct ones, but they do have replacements for some. http://www.sailnet.com/store/departments.cfm?id=471

Used parts

I found screens for my ports at Newport Nautical in Newport RI. In their resale section. Great place to browse for parts for older boats. You also might try the resale shop in Mystic.

Update

OK, so I can't find these anywhere, can't even find out if they are made by beckman, or that other company who got bought out. Anyway, for $2.00, got the screen at the local hardware store, and I'll be cutting and glueing new screens on plus minor repairs myself to the frames using the 5200? marine glue. I think this will work out nicely given the money and time involved.

Another Update

Thanks all for the help. Turns out they are the Bomar/Gray ones, and screens can be ordered for $17.50 out of the pompanette web site. But I'm still going to repair myself first, then if things dont work out, I'll spring for the ~$100 to get the 5 screens replaced. The rubber gaskets are holding on all except one, and even that one won't leak if I crank it down tight.
