Do any of you know if there is a place to go ashore to walk a dog if you anchor overnight in Port Madison and you are not a member of the Seattle Yacht Club?

Between SYC and Port Madison Yacht Club

Recently I was told that the City bought the property between the Port Madison Yacht Club and the Seattle Yacht Club for use as a park. There used to be a long dock (there is a lot of shallow mud there) that stuck out from the shore. In any event, if so, it's about 3.8 acres so there should be some area to walk a dog there. Contact Port. Madison YC

and ask if you could have access. They are all sailors and I think pretty low key/resonable

48 North article indicates there is a park w/ dock

Thanks for the replies - they gave me some other ideas, and led me to this 48 North article: http://www.48north.com/nov_2006/bainbridge.htm It looks like there is a public park and dock to tie to.
