Port lens replacement

Today I replaced one of my 32 year old port lens on my '84 Hunter 31 and it looks sweet. The lens fades slowly and you don't notice the change, but wow, look at the difference below!

Mine were replaced by the PO, with a nice light-smoke-gray lens. Where did you get the part? Are you going to do the other ports?

Those ports and components are sold right here at the SBO store. I need to order a new one myself. Some a-hole tried to break into my boat in my backyard. Busted some tabs trying to push it in. Must have been an aweful skinny dude to think he could squeeze into that 9 x 15 port ;)

I am replacing all the lenses & dogs in mine have done 4 so far I got mine from the SBO store they fit and work great and fast service and it is a night and day difference BTW the small pins on the dogs are a PITA but use a small nail as a punch it works for me

Wow.! That is certainly an improvement. It amazes me how things like that sneak up on me.

I just wanted to add, when replacing dogs, pins, knobs, lenses etc. add up the price of the pieces first. You may find that buying the complete port assembly which includes everything plus a screen may be cheaper.
