Port gaskets?

Port lights on my 1983 Hunter 25 leak in heavy rain. I want to replace gaskets - any sources or suggestions?

Gray Port?

If you have Gray Ports you can get the gasket material from the Thrifty Mariner (www.thriftymariner.com). I think that it is about $1.25/ft.

Ken, I replaced the gaskets on my 1990 V-32. I got them from West Marine. I do remember thinking they were pricy!!! Good Luck!!! Daddy's Dream

Leaky Ports

I did all my ports in Sept. with the new type of gasket materialfrom Jeff at Thrifty(813-390-7474). Much better and cheaper than what Bomar(Grey)wanted for the "T" gasket material. It was easy to install but a pain to clean off the old glue. The new gaskets have a self sticking-peel-away on the channel that fits into the Port. I found that "q-tips" and Goof-off" work best to clean the channel. Frank
