Port frames???

Hi all,

I am the new proud owner of a 1991 Catalina 30 Mark II. I just took delivery this past Wednesday and unfortunately had to immediately winterize her when I got to the Club.

I'm still in "discovery" mode....that is I'm finding (and not finding) things about the boat that I did not know.

One item I am wondering about is the obvious screw holes around the perimiter of the fixed ports inside the cabin. There are also "impressions" of a frame as well.

Were there frames around these ports in the cabin? If so, does anyone know where I can get them.....or can anyone take a photo of what they look like and I can spend my winter "fabricating"??

The screw holes I was wondering about turn out to be the holes for the window shades that cover both long ports. As it turns out, there never were any kind of finish moldings. Sorry for the "uneducated" question.:neutral:
