Port Charlotte sailing

Hi there
We are renting a place in the Port Charlotte area for the month of March and among other activities would like to get some sailing in, either rent a boat or preferably crew for someone. Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks: it would be nice to get back out on the water as with the winter we are having in Western Canada it will be mid May before the ice goes off the Lake.

There are some charter companies in that area, though I have never used them. Search for "charlotte harbor sail charter." Hopefully someone who lives there needs crew!

If I am not mistaken Burnt store Marina used to rent in that area . Good luck . You could always try the Key Lime Sailing Club in Key Largo for a few days, Very affordable .I do know I have checked out charters in the Charlotte Harbor area I think it was Burnt Store .
