Port brand for 83 Oday 25?

O day 25 Nyack. New York
I'm guessing that the two opening ports (1 port, 1 starboard) on my 83 O'day 25 are Beckson? Anyone actually know what brand they are? They look original

they were made by PYI I believe Beckson absorbed the brand. We replaces one in my O30 had to trim the FG a little bit but it replaced the old quite well. Don't know if it was the same on your boat.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I sure hope the gasket and screens I just ordered fit. Ernie

PYI wasn't around then; I think you mean PYHI which became Grey Enterprises and are now Pompanette. We have yet to find any Beckson ports that are original equipment, although many have been installed by owners.

If you ordered Beckson screens they'e not going to fit unless the ports have Beckson stamped on the frame. Give us a call at 877-932-7245 and ask for Dave. He can get you on the right track.

Hey Phil, I'm going to need the opening ports in the head on my 27. Since your tolerant of my blathering it's only fair I buy more stuff from the store. Unless I pound my head a few more times on the broken locks they are stock Oday. Hope you got 'em.

Recieved the new (Beckson) screens and they match the old ones I removed, so I'll assume that the gasket will work also. Thanks to all for your help. Ernie
