Do the jib control lines go on the outside of the shrouds then through the blocks that are located halfway back? Do you need to run the lines through the blocks?
yes, jib sheets always outside the shrouds. make sure you put in a stopper knot in the main sheet, i almost took down my shouds during an unexpected jibe. i have the stopper so it now staops the boom about 6 inches from the shrouds.
Yes, You need to use the blocks. This is how the shape of the jib is controlled. These blocks work great for a stock 110% jib. If you have a larger head sail you will need to use/install tracks to be able to adjust the blocks to control the shape of the jib.
