Well a couple of weeks I asked a question about not having a pump between the port a potti holding tank and the fixed holding tank. Well I solved the mystery. Though I was told that there was a fixed holding tank, the dealer did not speak the truth. I traced the hose from the porta potti tank to ... a deck fitting! Suprise, no fixed tank! So I guess the pump out suction would be enough to suck everyting out of the port a potti tank. BTW, it is vented. I smaller hose leads to a vent hole in the hull. My question is, Is this common to have a long hose connected from a prota potti tank to a pump out deck fitting? Thanks Peggie for all your help! Dan
